About Course
The IMM Online course is based upon The ‘Institute of Medical Missions’ (IMM) a residential program of EMFI, where students who would like to know about Missions spend a week in a rural Mission hospital and take a multi module course. The course includes group discussion, talks, village visits, clinical exposure and one on one discussion. It has been transformative to both the students and resource people.
The online version of ‘IMM’ is developed to enable participants to engage in reflective self-learning of some foundational concepts on Health care missions. These were brought out by a group of people who are visionaries, experts in the biblical medical missions. Their walk with the Lord and the understanding about the current healthcare scenario add richness to this foundational course.
This ‘IMM Online’ is a blended and comprehensive training program which includes weekend online group reflections with facilitators and learning through visits to a Mission hospital and field.
